Cooking Class Descriptions:

Gentle Cleanse to Turbocharge your Body into the NEW Healthy You! :  It’s really like giving a mini vacation and/or shower to the inside of your body to neutralize and eliminate toxins through the major organs (colon, liver, kidney, lungs, skin, etc.) to regain vitality and energy. I will guide you through the process and offer the complete information and full explanation on the detoxification protocol along with simple recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between. You will not be on a water fast, on the contrary, you’ll receive all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients that will do your body good with fresh food! We’ll also learn a few tips along the way on how to use properly a juicer, high speed blender and talk about the benefits of superfoods, sprouts and much more. All recipes will be WHEAT & GLUTEN FREE, DAIRY FREE, SOY FREE. 100% Vegan & Raw friendly class.

Fee: $75 includes 2 1/2 hour class with full proof recipes, cooking demonstration and food sampling.

“Raw Living Food” –  Do you wonder what is the Raw Food all about? Will a raw food diet really lead to better overall health?  Where do you get your protein from a plant base diet?  How do you prepare it?  Learn the ins & outs either you wish to follow the raw food diet or choose what will fit your everyday life.  You will be pleasantly surprised by the vibrant, energizing, fresh and flavorful food.

Fee: $85 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipe, a few healthy raw food to sample.

“Fresh Spring/Summer Rolls” –  It’s time to try something new and add to your cooking répertoire.  Learn to use Asian rice paper, vermicelli, vegetables & more to make a variety of flavorful fresh rolls – light, healthy and oh so delicious!  You won’t believe it’s that easy and will amaze everyone at your next dinner party.

Fee: $75 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipe, rice paper & fresh rolls to enjoy.

“Fancy French Macarons” –  Mac-a-what?  Not to be confused with the “macaroons” you are thinking of the mound of shredded coconut, dense, moist and sweet.  Here, you will learn all about the dainty French meringue cookie which will fill your soul with warm, fuzzy happiness after one single bite.  You will acquire a fool-proof recipe and secret techniques on how to make authentic and delicious tasting French Macarons that you can replicate in your own kitchen.  You will master the how to color and flavor the macarons to your heart’s desire using natural ingredients.  Together, we will discuss the different types of fillings and dairy free option too.  I assure that you will leave the class with a big happy smile on your face and beautiful “petits” (little) macarons in your hands to enjoy and share.  It’s a gluten free, soy free and dairy free dessert.

Fee: $125 includes 3 hour class, recipe, delicious “maracons”.  A minimum of 6 participants, this class is available for private session only..

“Les Galettes & Crêpes – Savory & Sweet French Crêpes” –  Don’t be intimidated by the delicate French thin pancakes, I’ll show you a simple way to prepare perfectly cooked, crispy-edged crêpes with all kinds of wonderful fillings.  You will be able to savor the “galettes” and “crêpes” for lunch, dinner and dessert!  Dairy free, soy free and gluten free options available at registration.

Fee: $75 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipe, buckwheat galettes with savory fillings and sweet dessert crêpes with delicious chocolate hazelnut spread.

“Make-Ahead 30mns Weeknight Meals” –  How to make dinner healthy and quickly for you and your family during the week?  Let me show you simple ways to plan your meals ahead, cook in no time and you’ll be ready to serve fabulous dinner with seasonal ingredients.  Dairy free, soy free, gluten free options available at registration.  Menu to be determined since I always try to cook with ingredients & produce available at the market that week.

Fee: $75 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipe for 5 dishes & a dessert or two.

“Homemade & Healthy” –  Do you have enough of the high content of sugar, sodium, preservatives, additives, hydrogenated oil, isolated soy protein, GMOs, corn syrup, and who knows what from the store-bought packaged food?  Let’s create our own homemade everyday essentials:  Nut/Plant Base Milk, Favorite Granola, Nut/Seed Butter, Crackers, Hummus, and “Vinaigrette”/Dressing to be enjoy often.  Dairy free, soy free, gluten free options available at registration

Fee: $125 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipe, homemade goodies to share & enjoy. A minimum of 6 participants, this class is available for private session only.

“Bold & Beautiful Vegetarian Food” – Cooking vegetarian food can require a little more creativity, but that doesn’t mean it has to be complicated, boring or dreadful.  Join me in making bold, bright and beautiful innovative dishes for every occasion.  The food will burst with flavor and vitality.  Not only will you learn how to create a healthy balanced vegetarian meal, but with a few hands-on cooking techniques and basic vegetarian pantry knowledge, you will be inspired to cook dazzling food with minimum fuss!  Dairy, Soy & Gluten Free options available at registration.

Fee:  $75 for 2 1/2 hour class, recipes, hands-on cooking skills, food sampling

“Savory Little Asian Dumplings” –   Don’t shy away from making homemade Asian dumplings because they are truly small bundles of joy when you bite into the humble morsels.  I will show you the different type of wrappers, fillings and how to shape them into various pretty dumplings.  Either you like them boiled, pan-fried or steamed, they sure will be perfectly moist and delightful to enjoy for appetizers, brunch, lunch or dinner.  Wouldn’t today be a perfect day for delicious dumplings?  Dairy free, soy free, gluten free options available at registration.

Fee: $75 includes 2 1/4 hour class, recipes, homemade dumplings, dipping sauces to taste and share

“Savory Vegetarian Asian Dumplings” –  There are usually only a handful of dumplings made with vegetables at Dim Sum restaurants, so let’s make our own savory vegetarian little bites. I will show you the different type of wrappers and we will prepare together the fillings and shape them into various pretty dumplings. Either you like them boiled, pan-fried, steamed or baked they sure will be perfectly moist and delightful to enjoy for appetizers, brunch, lunch or dinner. Let’s take a weeknight meal from ordinary into extraordinary!

Dairy free, soy free, nut free, and gluten free options available at registration.

Fee: $75 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipes, homemade dumplings, dipping sauces to taste and share.

“Thai Food” –  We’ll learn how to make enticing and terrific “Khao Ped Chup Pang” or Thai Corn Fritters appetizers served with sweet chili sauce,  the classic “Pad Thai” rice noodle dish as well as the traditional Thai style Coconut Tapioca Pudding. Easy to prepare, they will look, smell, and taste wonderful served for lunch or dinner. Sometimes it is the simplest dishes that taste the best!

All the recipes for this particular class will be Dairy free, Gluten Free and Vegetarian. For additional options please request it at registration.

Cost:  $75 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipes, food tasting.

Vegan Cuisine:  Master the art of vegan cuisine with a few of my handy tricks of trade and you’ll be able to cook nearly most of your favorite traditional recipes that will suit your new way of eating!  A vegan diet is certainly rich in “fiber, magnesium, folic acid, vitamins C, vitamin E, iron, phytochemicals and lower in calories, saturated fat, cholestrol, long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, calcium, zinc and vitamin B12″ and it will leave you feeling lighter, healthier and totally satisfied!  (source: Wikipedia)

  1. Are you planning on offering more evening or weekend classes? I work during the day and would LOVE to take some of the classes you offer during the day in the evenings or weekends.

    • Hi Maggie, I usually offer one Friday evening & one Saturday afternoon a month for now. Which classes are you interested in taking maybe I could put you on the waiting list until I get at least 4 people to attend that particular class?
