Savory Little Asian Dumplings

After a rather busy past month teaching on location at Chefanti, ACAC and in private homes, I am looking forward to host another Private Cooking Dinner Party for 8 people at Ketmala’s Kitchen this Friday where we’ll be preparing an elaborate 7 courses meal to feast on paired with a good glass of wine or two…

Should you wish to learn and/or perfect the art of Asian dumpling making, do not miss the upcoming session on Saturday, June 7th from 10:30am to 1:30pm.  We’ll be making homemade wrappers, shape some half-moon, round, classic crescent (pea pod), or the Shu Mai dumplings and I promised that they will all be delectable to savor at the end of class!

“Savory Little Asian Dumplings” — Let’s make our own savory little bites.  I will show you the different type of wrappers, how to make homemade ones; then we will prepare together the fillings and shape them into various pretty dumplings. Either you like them boiled, pan-fried, steamed or baked they sure will be perfectly moist and delightful to enjoy for appetizers, brunch, lunch or dinner. Let’s take a weeknight meal from ordinary into extraordinary!

Fee: $65 includes 2 1/2 hour class, recipes, homemade dumplings, dipping sauces to taste and share.

Here’s some feedback from previous “Savory Little Asian Dumplings” sessions:

“Delicious bundles of flavor! Now I can make the fillings, show my children how to wrap the dumplings, and then serve a professional Asian meal!” Susanne R. – West Chester, PA

“Yum! The dumplings were so delicious. Ketmala works her magic with chopping, combining ingredients, and cooking. It was great to learn about using new ingredients like garlic chives and black rice vinegar. We were also taught a few tricks like removing water from cabbage and how to wrap the fancy little packages called dumplings.” Peg L. – Lancaster, PA

“It was a fresh Asian breeze with Ketmala. A splendid day for an exceptional class. A journey through Asia with all the exotic ingredients easy to find in West Chester. Thank you much!” Karine C. – West Chester, PA

“This was a very informational and fun class. Ketmala was very energetic and well versed in Asian cooking. It was a very warm and friendly experience and I look forward to my next class with her.” Darlene H. – Danielsville, PA

“So Delicious! Ketmala’s class was thorough and comprehensive, from making our own dough to various methods of wrapping and cooking. I can’t wait to make them at home soon.” Corinne G. – West Chester, PA
